Let Go Of Labeling Yourself Under; "Depression"
- Labeling and Categorizing these experiences as Mental Illness are in-conducive to recovery or seeing them disappear as a culture.
- Try to sit with the uncomfortable feelings without judgement or worry of when it will end or how bad it is. Just be with it, and say "This too shall pass."
All I know is my own experiences and how that makes me feel. Where I had spent the last year and half of my life healing the past 30 years of experiences and trauma/heart breaks. So when I was facing this onslaught of random attacks that caused me to really want to commit suicide. Although I never did, and never fully would truly get ready or make plans. But the pains and heaviness of that energy.was so heavy and overwhelming when hitting - that it was hard to sit through without really crying out to God and thinking of how to escape.
I understand why someone would actually go through with the act of suicide. After those experiences - it had shown me that they are actually warriors anyway. For anyone to sit through the prisoned chaos and hopelessness that I felt and knew - then I would say you my friend, are a black belt in human survival. No matter what though, call someone. And if you can't focus on much - try to remember to just be grateful for the ability to see, smell, hear, feel, touch. And see what little things you can bring gratitude to while you battle with the negativity,
The most courageous acts you can do in these types of situations - is pick up the phone and call a friend or someone who can provide help. Because that phone is awfully difficult to pick up when you are trying to breathe yourself into existence and fight through the feelings of being left alone or not cared about.
