Knowing you're on track with your path in life - should be easy, yet the Universe tends to know what's aligned for us while our ideas of what we think we should do is often the friction in flow.
First thing Is to be aware of your emotions and feelings such as: frustration and doubt; these come from Fears as all uncomfortable emotions we experience are rooted in Fear.

How to overcome your Doubt:
Bring your attention to how everything in your life had always turned out with you alive and well - always bringing a positive or strength from the experiences which seemed like pitfalls in life.
If you haven't done so yet - viewing your life in a manner which puts you in victim role; then you must go back through the past experiences which you hold your resentment, anger, embarrassment and fears in.
The Belief and Understanding of ALWAYS having everything you need in life:
A water fast can really bring this belief closer to home for you. Even if just for a day. I had done my fasts as I felt called to - and I did 2 & 3 day fasts.
The 3 Day Water Fast
All I consumed was water for the first time ever to my knowledge in this life - and the first day bringing on those hunger pains and an underlying sense of panic which was felt throughout the whole first 24 hours period.
The Hunger sensations which used to demand immediate response and planning on my part to acquire food - slowly began to become more of an alarm system to which I couldn't decide really if I was hungry or not.
As the second day came into effect; the hunger pains began to reveal an emotional & thought provoked sensation which required comfort. Comfort in food.
I was able to trace this back to our infancy. Which we all came into this world kicking and screaming. As we were brought home and raised - our parents fed us obviously. And the feeding would become a response to our cries or discomfort.
Thus creating the cause and effect beliefs rooted so deep within us that it is the rooted external Love reaching which we all find ourselves in. Until breaking down ourselves through the past, such as in the spiritual rebirth process, and at the beginning of our life we see that our own Mothers Love is the cause for much of ideas and beliefs which bring us pain or discomfort.
No fault of their own. All mothers do their best, just as everyone else. Most mothers' try their best to provide the greatest care and love to their children. Which inevitably downloads false-beliefs and perceptions of our needs in life. And breaking free of these is not as simple as awareness to this fact. Rather it is in the constant peeling back of layers like peeling an onion.
Do Your Own Fast - No Food to Comfort those Needs
You will not react or respond to triggers such as a feeling, sensation, or thought as quickly as you once did. You will not put as much weight onto your sensations and feelings.
- Bringing great relief through your acceptance and allowing of sensations to pass without the past reactions you answered with.
This brings much clarity to your thoughts and actions which behaviors have formed in your life. The feeding of sensations which seek comfort in place of the thoughts rooted in Doubts or Fears. Only feeding the Doubts and Fears which you're trying to outrun in the first place by comforting yourself with food.
Bring awareness and practice the Contrary thoughts / actions which will release you from the habits or behaviors which you wish to let go of.
When you used to feel the sensations of lacking trust for someone in your life. You will less likely feed those ideas. As you realize through the hunger pains which used to control your life that all emotional sensations in your body are just a passing experience. And you do not need to feed them as you learn you do not need to feed the hunger pains.
Water satisfies and quenches the hunger pains. Which brings you great power of controlling your mind around the foods you eat and the ingesting of food simply in response to these hungers.
Mind over Matter. Takes times and practice but we all have this Power.
