From John 3:1 we see Jesus speaks of Rebirth and Seeing the Kingdom of God
1. You Must Be Reborn to See the Kingdom of God
John 3:1 Jesus and Nicodemus
…2He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs You are doing if God were not with him.” 3Jesus replied,“Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see thekingdom of God unless he is born again.”4“How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?”…
2. Flesh birth & Spirit birth different
John 3:4 – 8
How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
5Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.*** 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spiritb gives birth to spirit. ***
7You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You c must be born again.’ 8The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
3. New Heart - New Spirit Ezekiel 36:26
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
Sounds like the process of the spiritual journey into one's own inner-discovery. Where if you are like myself, and most others I've met having experienced a spiritual awakening or rebirth - it is much like a death and rebirth.
God = Earth?
I've come to find the reprieve being found in my appreciation and gratitude for Earth. All the beauty she holds, everything that we have to experience and take in. That was my kingdom!
